Why the name?

Before I actually start doing this, I think it’s a good idea to explain why I decided to name the blog Journey Spark. This way you’ll know what I’ll write about from now on.

I declare myself a huge fan of life, especially when it comes to the small things that make you feel lucky you’re alive. I’ve always thought life is a big mystery because you never know what’s coming next. You can have a plan, but there’s always a chance it won’t happen the way you expect it. And that’s the beauty of it.

There are two things I love most about life. The first one is called serendipity. In case you don’t know what that means, it’s a fortunate accident. I believe things happen for a reason, even though you might not know the reason right in that moment. But when you do… those small accidents not only start to have a value, but they also have a meaning.

My second favourite thing is called hygge, which embraces the simple pleasures in life like comfort, togetherness, and well being. It’s the feeling of being in a cozy atmosphere and enjoying each other’s company.  It’s true they say life is like a rollercoaster because it has its ups and downs. But even in the worst days you can find a moment when it all feels right. It doesn’t matter if it’s a cup of tea, a big bear hug, or the sound of rain. All those small things make you feel good inside.

Now, about the name… You probably have an idea of what’s coming next, but I’m going to say it anyway. Journey Spark is all about those unexpected moments that make a difference in your day.  It’s about the small details and signs that make living a magical thing to do. They happen constantly, but sometimes we don’t get the chance to really enjoy them as we should.

This is the space where I’ll talk about the sparks that make my journey shine. If you have any moments like these that you would like to share, please do so. You can comment on any post or write me a private message here. I would love to hear from you.

And now that it’s all clear, let the blogging start!
